In northern France, by the Belgian border, Scarpe-Escaut Park welcomes you for a green getaway among its mining landscapes, forests, countryside towns and villages, wetlands, and friendly locals. With its old farms, pitheads, former abbeys and little chapels, a visit to the Regional Nature Park revolves around two major waterways: the Scarpe and Escaut rivers.
